BIOGRAPHY

The name "Dehydrated Goat" was given to this musical collective, which began to form in the distant autumn of 2006, quite spontaneously, only later realizing its ominous and apocalyptic sound, which has found its embodiment in the group's music and themes – to examine and dissect various topics and ideas (degeneration, stupidity, futility, pretense, purity of thought, individual strength, wasting time, being against, parasitism, etc.) with a healthy dose of unhealthy fun. The collective currently manifests its existence through 5 individuals based on the principle of division of labor – Reinis' task is to emit various throat noises in a certain order, while Igors and Mārtiņš tirelessly take care of vibrating the electric guitar strings. Meanwhile, the responsibility for producing low-frequency sounds with the help of the bass guitar is taken on by Tomass, and finally, the rhythm section is managed by Filips.

The 5-member groovy grindcore band has existed in its current lineup since 2006, regularly performing at various Latvian and foreign festivals, clubs and concert venues. The band actively collaborates with other bands, organizing grind and extreme metal events, and has also supported the Czech "Gutalax" in 2025. The band members have also played in bands such as Eschatos, Wagars, Nekad, VIŅA, etc.
